石志岩，教授，硕士生导师，从事概率极限理论与信息论的研究工作，尤其在树指标马氏链的强大数定律与AEP方面取得一定的成果，先后在《IEEE Transactions on Information Theory》、《Journal of Theoretical Probability》等国内外学术期刊发表论文40余篇。主持国家自然科学基金基金2项，江苏省科协青年托举工程1项，作为主要成员参加并完成国家自然科学基金3项。现为美国数学会《Math. Review》评论员。在教改方面主持校级重大、重点等教改课题4项，参与完成省级教改重点课题2项。
